Hello,

I recently began a google ads campaign, however it was declined, although the website doesn't explicitly break any rules or policies.

Specifics:
- Google Ads account is about 1-2 years old, and that has had some money flow through it already.
- No VPN or anything similar used.
- Website that is to be advertised is about selling crypto ASIC hardware.
- Account is not suspended, only the campaign has been declined.
- Website is wordpress-based, with custom plugins. Some plugins/the theme might have been purchased from websites like wpnullorg, so I assume this could be a potential reason.

The reason was in two parts: "Malicious Software" detected, and "Circumventing Policies". The "Circumventing Policies" part is one I am used to already, however it is the first time I am seeing the "Malicious Software" one.

Any input will be appreciated. Thank you for reading.

Plugins from any source can contain backdoors, malware etc. or they can even have vulnerabilities and attackers inject malicious code into your website. If you obtain these plugins/themes from untrusted sources, the risk is even higher. So you have to make sure that your page is clean. BUT the suspension with "Malicious Software" and "Circumventing Systems" can also have different reasons. One possibility is that your landing page layout/text or the theme or structure of your page is too close to previously rejected/blacklisted landing pages (for example because too many BH marketers used the same theme that you use). Furthermore, we experienced that this combined suspension reason is also used if they simply don't want YOU to advertise this specific content - even if it is policy-compliant - because, but not limited to, they either don't understand it, don't trust you or see it as a too high-risk if you advertise it. They will not tell you and you will never be able to know or prove anything. It can even be possible, that they have their own monetary interest in limiting this specific topic to only selected advertisers/agencies.
