Hi guys, would like to ask is it normal to get only half the clicks thats coming from google?

basically google getting around 160 clicks today, but in JCI only 40 blocks and 16 pass thru clicks..
was wondering what did i do wrong.. im using JCI non redirection method

Yeah, that discrepancy can feel frustrating, but it’s actually pretty common with non-redirection methods. Here’s the deal: Google’s click data includes all clicks, even accidental ones (like when someone clicks back immediately or closes the page super fast). JCI, on the other hand, only counts clicks that fully load your site and meet its filtering rules, which is why the numbers are lower.

With the non-redirection method, JCI relies on JavaScript to track clicks, and sometimes things like ad blockers, slow page loads, or users bouncing too quickly can mess with the count. If you want to tighten things up, you could try switching to JCI’s redirection method since it’s more accurate, it forces a quick redirect through their server to count the click properly. Just keep in mind that some users might notice the slight delay.

Also, double-check your JCI settings to make sure your filters aren’t too strict. If you’re blocking too many regions or user agents, you might be cutting out legit clicks. Good luck!

If we talk about JCI tracking, there are most likely 2 reasons:

1. JavaScript or AdBlock code is blocked by the browser.
2. Tracking does not work in time (for example, the user leaves before the page is fully loaded).
