This is something I've heard from a partner a while back, but people have gone into small office buildings, seen the suites only go up to G, and then add H to the listing. The issue then becomes getting the verification mail. People have paid custodians as well as employees/business owners who don't mind. You're not out of the woods yet... the issue then becomes Google doing random checks verifying the location of the place. An undercover Google employee may call the business number and ask for the address; if you don't say what is listed then you risk getting the listing removed. But usually, its just been Google sending a post card with a code that you're supposed to submit online. I'm assuming your listing gets deranked or penalized if you don't respond to it within a certain duration. So you can definitely make this work, but you're on your own. You need to figure out where is a good location, and how to maintain credibility in G's eyes.
