In the latest update, things have become incredibly frustrating because the option to convert to a business account for adding links without the 1000-follower requirement has been hidden. Now it's extremely complicated because it requires you to prove business activity in 99% of countries. This is very difficult for people starting businesses or working in CPA marketing. Does anyone know a way to solve this problem, or which country doesn't require this complicated option? Thank you very much. If I can't find a solution, I'd rather leave the platform.

They accept a USA EIN as proof of business, which is trivial to get in most circumstances.

This applies if you have a business, but in the CPA field, you work with multiple accounts, and adding the link to your bio has become complicated.

why waste time with business accounts? just buy accounts that already have the link option enabled. Saves you the trouble of verification and you can start scaling immediately

yeah the 1k follower thing is annoying but honestly the business verification wall hit different for me, i tried routing through a uk sole trader setup last year and got approved no problem, took maybe 3 days. the countries requiring "proof of business activity" vary way more than tiktok lets on in their docs, some just want a tax id number and that's it so its worth testing a few before you assume you're locked out completely

Slower start but once you pass 1k followers it’s way more stable anyway.

Yes, TikTok requires 1000 followers to be able to place a link. You can run ads or cross-follow to achieve this.
