Goodbye Sadies Green Mile.

Mine is 10 years, but I lost a three year old last year. She passed away the night before we had set up the meeting with the vet. They know.
I feel your pain and understand your doubts, but you took the right decision. Much strength to you and your wife!

As a dog owner I feel your pain.

Sorry for your loss, stay strong :)

today sadie walked the green mile. took her to the vets this morning
in to the room we went, the vet layed out a blanket on the floor to do the
procedure [PTS] sadie did something never done in 8 yrs.

she ran to me and burried her head in my chest and raised a paw. i looked
at the vet and said, we do it here i sat crouched on the floor, arms
around her waste, hugging style,

1 final kiss from mom/dad, and i nodded to the vet, head against my chest, i broke,
moments later, her head slowly lowered and rested on my knee .
and she was gone to the bridge.

RIP sadie, 8 was no age. just so annoyed, all her scans last aug
where clear. 4 months later fast aggressive inop stomach tumors
strangled her nutrition. i hope you meet cloey and run free.

Damn this is heartbreaking... Last time I was to the vet I was hugging my dog as he was more comfortable while the vet was checking him... Imagining it while it would be the last time I hug him I'd literally die... It's the "person" I love the most and it's so sad that their lifespan is so short sometimes... I wish you all the best, be strong..
