➡️ Good WordPress control panel ?

But the problem is; I do not know how which nano commands to use, to get at the end of a line and change forbidden to yes (as example for permissionroot) or
cut out the text, then edit it in my mac texteditor then copy&paste it back into ssh console

I know to save, restart....quit...
ufff hard stufff....

Now I try some change sin the sshd config file:

set permissionRootLogin to yes
pubkey authentication set to = no
add this line at the bottom of config file: StrictHostKeyChecking no

then use ctrl+x then reboot (my mac desktop goes out for a few seconds)- is that correct? )
Then exit and start Terminal again.

type in my ssh root@ip
the whammm! errors= Host Key verification failed

I get headache...hw I get rid of this host key verification I will only us emy root password.
When I not find asolution I will give up thi sssh crap after thi sweek and buy good fast webhosting for my second domain I will try it with nginx only, but hard to find such providers.

Or use again a second plan with interserver webhosting I be satisfied with them, only downside, their live chat respons eis slow, yes they help you fix things, but response is slow. But ttfb speed is very good, but with using only nginx will be an edge faster.

Now Ifound the known_host file, there are 3 remote hosts keys store, remove them all.
Then try again login with sudo ssh@myip

then my password: showing as wrong !
This sick ssh crossed the line- I spend this whole week a lot of hours to setup google cloud vm or Hetzner (google cloud vm is easy with ssh too)
But I be not able to setup Hetzner vps.

Make me sick this ssh crap.
I buy a second plan from intersever or when I find an affordable price nginx web hosting (around $15-18 monthly).

Sick this vps setup, but I must say I be able setup google cloud vm, it makes me relative easy with ssh login too (this is automatic generated), but google cloud vm has no ddos protection so I must spend money on cloud amor (complicated toinstall) or using cloudflare.

Using cloudflare ssl on Hestia panel hostname is compliated and tricky to set up.In Hestia let's encrypt for my main domain is easy (you must separate this when using CF) .

But I not want using CF, my second domain is on ionos, so when I changing their nameservers , then ionos email hosting will stop working, so I must buy namecheap email hosting plan ( as example).

Keep google cloud vm costs low with 2cpu +4gb ram that should be really enough for snappy wordpress site when I blogging 4x times a week, I can cut down the monthly costs with their scheduler down to 30-40%, then it will be around $20-25 monthly who is ok.

Google cloud vm is the only thing I be able to set up. Others like Hetzner not, I be not able to get ssh login, no matter if I use root+password or if I use keys.

I need some rest today...

@Marco69 Relax man. First delete that server you've messed with and spawn a new one.

You're messing with security permissions on the server and that is absolutely not recommended.

Let's calm down. Take a deep breath and start over.

Let's spawn a new server - run the first install command by prefacing your commands with sudo like I asked.

If an error shows up, post it here and we'll take it from there?

Alright.

Thank guys !

Now I create new google cloud vm, use the tutorial form ideaspot with cloudflare here is for oracle, but it I install Heatia again try it with cloudflare.
https://ideaspot.com.au/blog/cloudflare-hestia-setup/I use the easy google cloud ssh console.

installed Hestia all is fine.
no wthe problems begins here, changing the port to 2083 ssh command not work.
So I go to the sshd config file and edit Port from 22 to 2083 use ctrl+x then reboot (restart command not work)

Now login to Cf setup the records, A rcord to ip
A rcord hcp (panel) to ip
cname www-to my domain

Then try to to set up the cloudflare commands (from ideaspot tutorial) = not works.
Back to the google cloud instance set up Firewall rule with tehse ports:

tcp:2083
tcp:80
tcp:443
tcp:143
tcp:993
tcp:110
tcp:995
tcp:22 (here was 25 but is not allowed in google cloud so I use 22)
tcp:465
tcp:587

Then whammm! I get 4003 error on the ssh console- I be logged out.
What I have done wrong here?

Maybe the cause of this is I changed the Port in sshd config file to 2083 ? Or should I use both here; 22, 2083 ?
So now I be logged out from ssh console see my screenshots below.

Now I can delete this vm no.22 and create new- tomorrow without cloudflare, because I not know how to fix this 4003 error and not use cloudflare.
I want it ,my thought was for the DDOS protection.

But tomorrow -now I watch a movie 1 hour, then go to bed need rest ....uffff.... what a painfull life...

Thanks guys and have nice evening rest too !

I think I should not have CFproxy on (orange) on hostname A record (hestia panel) also disable it and wait to see if it will work.
This is why I not like Cf it masks your real ip, so when google cloud ssh can not see your real ip (it's masked behind CF) so you cannot have ssh connection.

I work on this tomorrow see if it will work, when not , then I delete CF.
But I want little bit of DDOS protection for the vm, cloud armor is too complicted and cost money again.

Maybe try another cdn provider ,not one who uses cname also the boring www domain, but hard to find.
Namecheap has premium DNS may that will help against DDOS attacks?

Try now to load my https://ip: 8083 = no success not load
same with port 2083= not load in browser.

Also with this ideaspot tutorial set up I can not access to Hestia panel with 8083 and 2083 and have no ssh connection to port 22 (4003 error)
I set in google cloud firewall allow tcp for port 2083= no success.

Any tips for good external cheap DDOS services I can buy to protect the vm ?

Enough today good night guys !
