www.fthemes.com is great - they have footer links that are hardcoded, but they can be removed if you know a little php

Why not just stop searching and go with a custom WP design? Or, how about ripping a site, and having a coder tweak it to your liking?

I think Canvas of WooThemes can be a good fit for you per your examples. Also Thesis can be very flexible - you can see examples on ThesisGallery.com of many different sites built on Thesis.

I would go down the custom route, but how much would I be looking at for a full site with plugins?
