Good keyword? Opinions please!

So after reading IamNRE 's post "Step by Step keyword research for newbies" I did some of my own keyword research and found one I think may be good.
here is a pic from Google Adwords:


So the first result is the broad results and the second is the exact match, both with low competition.

On the second part of the keyword research using the exact match there is around 100k websites with results returned
Also, I can get an EMD for this keyword.
Thoughts? Should I go for it?
Anything I may be missing.

Yes your missing alot! You need to check the competition for the keyword. Alot of noobs think that because Google keyword tool says it has "low" competition that its gonna be easy. Their wrong, low competition on keyword tool means low competition for adwords. Get yourself the free version of TrafficTravis and post the screenshot here and i can help you more. By the way the screen shot on your thread is as small as a Chinese mans penis

ok here are my traffic travis results

the one in grey is my exact keyword match,
The #'s are
Global Count : 18,100
US Count: 9900
Competition: Low (20)
and SERPS, 9,270,000

If there are authority sites dominating the niche then you shouldn't go for it

Also, is it an info based keyword or a product based one. If it's an info based keyword, does if refer.to something that people need to know right now?

This will help gauge the visitor's mindset. A visitor looking for chicken recipes is less likely to click on an ad than a visitor looking for ways to solve their bed bug problem.

Like mentioned above the images are too small to read so can't input there! My input would be to forget about the number of competing pages nonsense. There is only ever 10 competing pages - those on page one. Do a standard broad match search for your keyword - there is your competition. Authority sites and average PR of 4 or higher = avoid (unless you're willing to give it 6 months or more or hard work). Less than average PR 4 and less than a few hundred backlinks to the site is a good sign!
