I always think there is a good place to study some marketing hacks. I'm wrong.
There is hostility here. I just shared my experience and the software I have used, but it was mistaken for promotion, I was really speechless. In addition, I received inexplicable verbal attacks, and some people even established a dialogue to scold me.
Also, don't judge things from one side! Finally I want to say that bhw also wears colored glasses to judge things. the report is useless

I find myself sharing a similar sentiment about BHW. It appears that there is a disturbing element of racism present within the community. Discrimination seems to be prevalent, with individuals being targeted based on their age, rank, and upgrade status. I have personally witnessed several instances where people have been subjected to direct attacks disguised as sarcasm, although the level of hostility displayed goes well beyond any reasonable interpretation of sarcasm.
 
Don't go. Think of it as an opportunity to work on yourself and improve how you handle such situations.

This is a forum and things like this happen when many different characters are gathered in one place.

That's the reason I don't justify myself in these situations or respond to such accusations. It doesn't do any good in the end.

You can learn so much here, don't get dragged down because of a few idiots.

Well of course older and more experienced members will be treated differently, that's to be expected, that's how every forum (not to mention society) functions.

How some one sounds to you is your problem, I cant help with that. Sorry.
 
I'm not sure what exactly happened. I can only speculate based on what you said. Take it in stride and move on.

Make no decisions when you are upset. You will come to regret it sooner or later.

If you're saying goodbye to BHW, it means you've taken a wrong turn. This is the place to learn and earn simultaneously. Especially if you're into IM.

Not true. The way you treated depends on how you interact with the community. I'm here for over 10 yrs. There is no partiality or special treatment. What you bring to the table is what matters here. Name calling and such are strictly not allowed. Yesterday someone post a thread and mentioned he don't want to work with any Asians or Indians. The thread was taken down immediately.

Everyone is treated equally and with all due respect. It's better you change the way you see things and you'll realize how great this community is.

A Newbie doesn't have any history here and is often avoided considering his rank.
 
It's like in life, you have good people and bad people. Ignore them, get on with your life, exchange only with those who are worthwhile.
Someone sends you a PM to reprimand you, ignore him or report him. Let it go...
You can learn so much here and make good contacts.
That's just my opinion, but if you want to leave, have a good trip!

I had a fair share of those people you are saying. But this community is diverse. BHW if I am not mistaken consists of mostly American users. Each country has their own identity or "manner of speaking." Americans usually are upfront about what they say as they have learned to enjoy every freedom they have. On the other hand, people from countries that give high value to elders like Spain, Brazil, and Philippines, tend to be more polite. However, this is subjective. Unless you see everyone in person, there is always this notion of anonymity. Like I can say whatever I want, but no one can fact check me instantly. Unless they have all the time. Hence, the moderators are actively banning those people who they think harasses members. So if these harassments happened in the platform itself, do report them to the admins.
