Lists are good but often misleading because web2.0s keep changing.

The problem with most such list is that they are found on the web and not posted without checking.
This is the list I use to build backlinks for my sites so everything is confirmed and 99% true.

Beep.com is also a good option I guess. Its indexable too.

According to my view - there are only 15 to 20 top sites which are really good and gets indexed by Google.

True. Many people use sites that are blocked from indexing in hope they will get indexed letter on. But they wouldn't.
Some use scrapebox which shows that these links are indexed which actually isn't true.

A lot of these sites see to be still good to use. I checked a few today:
