Good alternative to popular messengers?

He took a lot on him. Scamming people telling that Telegram is fully secured, trying to launch the best coin ever, and so on. But what we see is a full disaster with TON, multiple and regular data breaks, and all the other personal scandals. So I won't believe it's his project. It's too good for Durov.

Well yes. In general, the very idea of the application, its real anonymity and the lack of the possibility of hacking is too good for a person whose application is always hacked, and he himself merges the data with the authorities.

In my opinion there's no such thing as a anonymous messenger, but telegram is fine

Recently I came across news about how many given Telegram users were leaked to the Darknet and I was just f****** shocked to be honest. By the way, how do you like the latest news about protonmail?
 
You can use telegram as others will not be able to see your personal information until you add their contacts in to your list

Was it something again related to accusations of protonmail spying on its users? I am already confused by this news, they are repeated every year.
 
Yes, you're right. The same situation happens again and again. All these scandals around different social media seems not to be solved. As they're attacked all the time and losing user's data. But people don't care and continue using it..
 
Yes, because these are commercial products, and a lot of money has been invested in their promotion and advertising. But behind a pretty picture is not a very pretty truth.

All of you here seem that you hadn't heard of mass data breaks happening to Telegram in a regular manner. I won't use the soft which faces data leak few times per year. I don't have much to hide, but I want my correspondence remain secured.
