Godaddy Stole my $60k valued domain

I just saw a GoDaddy commercial in between this 49ers and Seahawks game. I immediately thought of Ving Rhames getting his butthole ripped out by ZED in Pulp Fiction.

I have stated countless times in another forum not to use these fuckheads. Sorry it had to happen to ya, and hope you get it worked out.

You really need to read im only after saying it was a Whitehat legit site.
 
No, you're not paranoid. I've heard of them doing shit like that all the time. That's why I never check domain name availability there.

Hmm, I wonder what's going to happen next. I read several Godaddy horror stories on gfy.com and they almost always have a good outcome. Good luck, HaRRo!
 
that sucks big time. can u not take legal action? ifr it was a high value domain then they blatently stole it for their own use and to sell.

surely u can seek legal action for this?
 
I will be starting legal action once i find out what there response is.
 
You should try calling them on the phone. I've been using them for several years and I have had a couple of problems. The fastest and easiest way to resolution from them is getting them on the phone.
 
Damn thats messed up. Most of my domains are hosted at godaddy.
You deff. have to keep us abreast of this situation. You should deff seek legal action. And WTF are you talking about Ashley. Even if he was using black hat methods and spamming, which he indicated in his post it was a legit white hat site, then the search engines would penalize him. But godaddy still wouldn't have the right to steal his domain. That's like stealing someones business. Regaurdless of how it is run. Stealing is stealing. The search engines would deal with the domain by penalizeing it and devalueing it. But no one should be able to steal it like that esp. a domain host.

especially a company that was supposed to help registerfly victims get their domain after they where stolen by the registrar!

Sorry to hear about the domain and the sick baby. I am just learning about this BH stuff, but I do know a little about babies....take her to the chiro and she will be better without the meds...my 2 year old has not been sick since he was 13 months because he goes to the chiro and his immune system can work it's own magic.

I would have to agree with mkdarling..even though I don't have my own kids but I raised my little brothers,,so yeah sorry to hear about that. And hope you get your domain back Harro.

i got here and it said i dont have the privelages to view forum.. soi clicked usercp and was able to view this and few other threads but nothing else..

whats happend?

Well in case you dont know, stay away from Globat. I fell for one of their super cheap domain spams, when I went to change the DNS I couldnt, then I got an email from them telling me they were going to upgrade me to a hosting account and charge my account unless I told them not to. I was floored. I got my start in adult and I certainly remember what happened when people started charging accounts like that. 45% charge backs, bye bye merchant account. Anyway, just thought you might want to know.

I also have everything at GoDaddy, this is bad news.
 
We should create create our own webhosting website. I have a lot of ideas :) with my connections we could market it Very well.
