Godaddy Stole my $60k valued domain

These fucks stole my domain today, it was not expiring and i went to add something to it about 20mins ago it boom it points to there damn fuckin domain landing page.

I swear i just emailed them, they may step up and hurry before i take major legal action.

Never trust a fucking domain registrar. Or Godaddy for that matter.

I checked its not mine no more. Its registered under there name.

Dont worry about proving it belongs to me, i always keep proof of everything i own its like owning a car without a log book or license or a house without the deeds.

Yeah, I don't even understand why they exist. I don't even like checking for domain names there. When I'm ready to start a site, then I go through my host and work down my list of chosen names.

I'm extremely anal about 3rd parties for anything. Like, I don't even like doing keyword research through other peoples' sites. I have a membership at Wealthy Affiliate and they have a keyword research tool....and I will not use it. I trust NO ONE.

I use Namecheap and they've been alright for all my domains. I also have one with Dynadot who seem to have been fine.

damn godaddy really does suck! i have had the same thing happen with a few domains there.. never got them back also the same happened with a couple of domains reged at Dynadot steer clear of those wankers..

Enom.com is a first party registrar.

I now use namecheap.com mostly. While I still have a few domains registered with godaddy, I'll be moving them shortly. I don't like what I've been hearing about their practices.

Although I don't understand how they could commandeer your DN, unless you've had a spam or fraud complaint--in which case, I've heard, that they often redirect the DNS prior to asking questions. In any case, I'm not liking what I'm hearing about them over the past 18 months and have ceased using them to register DN's.

I have often wondered about GoDaddy. I do register all my domains there but occasionally I have found an obscure one and for one reason or another couldn't buy it that second - then it is not available when I go back half hour latter. But is available to buy at a premium of somebody else. Perhaps I am paranoid!
