godaddy requiring ID

They asked for my ID the other day for a new domain. I told them I was not comfortable with that. So then they just asked for a screenshot of the transaction on my credit card statement (which I blurred out all of my personal info on). Worked like a charm!

They aslo asked me for the ID. I simply asked for a refund. I am not gonna give my ID card to someone like that.
