Godaddy Aged auctions are new domains?

Hello, i have a question. Recently i bought a domain from godaddy auction which is 23 years old and have DA 33 PA 32.

Before bidding i check out the domain on google using this query to make sure if pages of this website are showing or not (site:mydomain.com) only home page is indexed on google. Further i check the domain on archive web the domain is active in 2015.
So now come to my question does google consider these type of domain as new or will sandboxed them if i try to rebuild them and rank for other niche keywords ? Because its been a week ive been linking to my domain send several profile and social signals to my domain. My post is indexed on google but not showing serp result when i try to check the rank for my desired keyword.

GoDaddy is fraud in all ways and yes they sell dropped domains as aged ones. They even steal them later. Some of these domains on their auctions include domains they took from their own customers.

You should first and foremost check the links of the domains - metrics are just a way to sort out thousands of domains. Anyway yes, you have better chance to avoid sandbox (if there is such thing at all) using aged domains.

Godaddy are greedy, incompetent scumbags, but this doesn't mean that they break the law by stealing. Also if you think that they "sell dropped domains as aged" - you have no idea what you are talking about. Just saying.

What i said is based on my experience, they took a domain out of my account and sent it to a person that was money extorting me and i had to buy it using Godaddy auctions from him to get it back. I do not want this public but if you want i will send you screenshots.

Let me see please. Also this cannot be the full story - in order for them to take such action, this other person have to have rights over the domain in one way or another. Trademark for example?

Fake cheap trademark registered offshore for my own company just to have the domain stolen.

Here you go. Like I said Godaddy are greedy and incompetent, but this doesn't make them thiefs. You do realize that such schemes cost them more money than they would ever make?

Jun 20, someone registers a trademark under fake details.
Jun 20, someone requests for domain name.
Jun 21, without any notice or something, Godaddy gives them the domain name (that i owned for 7 years)
Jun 23, i get a money extortion email that i need to pay $XXXX to get my domain name back and pay using GoDaddy auctions
Jun 25, i get domain name back and trademark disappears

Trademark was made using OnlyDomains and all details were fake. And no i am not going to trademark any of my domain names as i own over 400 good ones.
If there is (ever) such an issue, they should notify their users first and not just suddenly cancel your product and give it to someone else.

How you would feel if i learn one of your domain names and register entity and trademark in Transnistria, Moldova or Kosovo and act like i am a legit company, thus telling Godaddy to give me your domain name?

After 2 weeks of discussing this over the phone as they are helping someone do money extortion and everything, they told me i have two options, file a lawsuit against that person including them or accept their offer of $XXXX worth of services, which i did because i was exhausted and i thought they are not worth losing any more of my time. I was very sick at the moment this happened and this happened a few days after i got out of hospitalization.

If you google there are tons of cases where this happened and i wouldn't spend a penny or a second for them anymore, already moved out over 50 domains i had with them to Namecheap and InternetBS.

AND YES IN CASES OF DISPUTES LIKE THIS THEY MANAGE TO TAKE THE DOMAIN NAME UNDER THEIR OWN OWNERSHIP AND YOU SEE IT ON THEIR AUCTIONS AFTER A YEAR OR TWO!

Dude you are not reading. What I am saying is that there is no malicious intent, nor "stealing" from the GoDaddy side. They couldn't care less for your domains (which is in fact the problem). For them the easiest thing to do is to move the domain out as they received legitimated (from their point of view) claim. End of story. Not happy with that? Bad luck mate, go sue or settle. But the truth is that you cannot go without GoDaddy auctions if you want to be in the domain business. Do I move every single domain out of there as soon as I can? Of course. But this doesnt mean that they "steal" your domain.

And yeah I had my fair share problems with them.

Yeah i agree with you, i used the wrong word to express my feelings, but basically that is how i felt, as in fact it got stolen at the end and i ended up paying to get it back, because of their bad point of view and not caring for their customers as they are supposed to.
 
For the domains bought from GoDaddy auctions the age and links persist. However, you should check the links history on any of the backlinks tools. E.g. ahrefs or Moz. Do check the DA/PA & the spam score. Also check the number of referring sites vs total backlinks. If number of total backlinks is much higher than the referring sites, there is something shady.
 
Maybe I'm the only one who has used GoDaddy without any problems.

Since it was active back in 2015 it will probably take some time to get back ranking and for other keywords. A week is nothing, too short of time to judge. Give it a few months to really see, all of mine seem to back to full strength once they hit ~6 months hosted age after auction.
 
Godaddy is expensive but not really a scam. Also if you register a domain after the trademark has been registered, you have a chance to lose the domain. If it was registered and not dropped before, you could UDRP.
 
i buy some dropped domain on godaddy auction and dont have any problem with that

Seems, you're one of those, who really know how to use in proper way metrics.
Many people compare just metrics with hope that it will help them rank better, especially DR DA which base on old useless Pagerank.
