I tried to sign in on godaddy today and found out that my account had been locked. What may be the possible reasons for this?

But I did nothing wrong. I just used two accounts with same credit card and they both got locked. Is it wrong to use two accounts with same credit card?

Call godaddy and get the issue resolved.

Call Godaddy as Tony mentioned one of the best customer service in IM world. I have faced problem several times and when ever i am in trouble i just call them and they get it fixed very fast. Very fast with good product knowledge.
You were using same credit card on two different account and machine picked it as suspicious so it got automatically blocked. They will remove lock once you call them.

They're asking me for a lot of documents. Including front and back photo of my credit card.

Indeed - in line with my first post; suspected fraud.
I remember creating a Host Gator account when I was in a 3rd world country. The amount of sh!t they required (including what you've mentioned) drove me crazy...
I guess having a user session that originates in a country outside 'the developed world' puts you in a category of suspected criminals automatically.

I don't think they offer multiple account and the worst mistake you made was linked same credit card on both this may have raised an alarm.

I think I'll leave them. Anyway I did not need the domains that I had registered with them. I'll just look for another registrar for future. Any recommendations for a good affordable domain registrar?

My suggestion don't register any domain with godaddy if you look their history...they are always trying to find out something fraud of their client account & take the domain & place a bid higher price....

Call them and try to resolve the issue as soon as possible otherwise you will loose authority from call the domains you have.

You should've read the reviews about godaddy here before even using it. You can try contacting them and see what you've done wrong to cause them to lock your account.
