I've got a website planned that has the potential to sell some products, since there are almost no eShops in my market and the few that exist don't have a affiliate program I'd like to try to sell the few products Amazon is offering.
I have to make the decision now if I should set up a Shop or just link to Amazon products. Since I've never had a site which actively sold products I don't know with which I should go. Here are the considerations I made until now:
Shop:
Links:
I don't know if these points are valid and if I took everything in consideration, because of this I would really appreciate your input on the matter.
Another quick question: Can I have Adsense Ads on a Site that has affiliate Links to Amazon?
Thanks for your time!
I have to make the decision now if I should set up a Shop or just link to Amazon products. Since I've never had a site which actively sold products I don't know with which I should go. Here are the considerations I made until now:
Shop:
- Pro: I can preselect products so buyers might buy more
- Pro: Google might favor shops?
- Con: Technical headaches
- Con: Customer support?
Links:
- Pro: Easy to do
- Pro: I earn when a buyer buys another product later (Is this still valid?)
- Con: Google penalties?
- Con: I might sell only one product where I could have sold two
I don't know if these points are valid and if I took everything in consideration, because of this I would really appreciate your input on the matter.
