GMB "short name" killing some listings?

I recently read that some businesses have experienced a decline and/or their business being removed from Maps. Has anyone here experienced this after adding a "short name tag" in their business?

Yes, I've faced the same issue, contacted Google to recover the listing but nothing happened.

I think the reasons could be the name should be similar to your domain name and the business must have a physical presence in the given location.

I have seen a lot of businesses that have changed their GMB listing title from their name to their keyword or other optimisation are being reported lots by the businesses that have not done this as they are starting to be out ranked etc

Been confirmed and google says they resolved it.

Yes few days after i had add the short name baaaammm, bye bye GMB SERP.

Have now removed the name, did a post and changed the 750 letters text a little.
Let see what will happen.
