Depends on niche to niche. But generally 100-150 for optimization then 100 for citations (50-70) and reviews (3-4 per review).

Short answer: It depends on a lot of things that go from niche to targeted keywords. One-time optimization goes from 100-400 depending on the amount of work put into the process. Monthly fees may vary as well. When crafting a GBP SEO strategy, you must ask yourself a question:
"Will $200 suffice for Google?"
Citations, high-quality pictures, 360 virtual tours, and pretty much anything else that can be done within the GBP tool will cost you time to implement properly, so it's up to you - or someone else - to decide what should be done. Bare in mind that GBP SEO and Website SEO, although two different things, must be treated as one in order to achieve long-term results.
Also, don't forget about the local competition. They are the ones dictating the rules. I've witnessed a case where a company was spending over $500/month into their GBP in order to stay in the Top 3 + God-knows-what on their website. It's getting increasingly difficult to rank high on Google so it makes sense to spend time crafting a concrete GBP SEO strategy which in turn demands money to keep it up and running.

Local SEO can be very inexpensive depending on how much you actually do yourself. You can do your own optimization, content, and directories and with a simple tool like Local Viking, or map labs provide reporting and monthly posting too. This is very basic. If you have the budget and want to really make a bang, more advanced methods such as - Anonymous CTR, Google Profile interactions such as questions, driving directions and navigation, and reviews are most likely better to hire out, but still reasonable for the return.

A complete GMB profile with review and citations may cost 400-500 from an expert freelancer. But it may get cheaper by hiring someone who is experienced in GMB but new in the freelance marketplace.

I've found a great GMB seo service at the rate of 380$ monthly. It comes with a steady amount of reviews, local citations, posting.. Reasonable price in my mind.

It can range from very cheap to very expensive. I have seen GMB SEO for franchises go for thousands. You can probably find some packages here for GMB SEO for less than a hundred bucks a month. It really just depends on your situation and what you want.

Are you insane??? I dont touch work bellow 1.5k per month with min 6 month contract.ideally now is about 2k per month

Do you allow a monthly payment , 50% down or do you do 100% all at once.? How do you handle non-payment? We had this issue. People would sign-up for the monthly payment option. They get good / great results from us, we give them a boost in business ......then think they dont need us any more after 3 months....

I usually charge 100% in advance to avoid issues with no payment.Also today working on GBP must be constant even you give a push to results in 30-40 days when they take drive nobody later can get it up. So if is serious business they will invest money monthly on long run at least year and half. Why? because in 2-3 months they will be holding many top 3 spots on different keywords , but if the call off they will loose rankings as well. I had client who change me and hire different angencies and monitor my way of work in 3 months when i stop with work they lost all cases. PI (personal injury lawyer) niche i was generating about 15 cases again signed cases, and they monitor my work with opinion that can later mimic by their seo teams or thirth party side. They lost all cases on second month and positions.
So you need to have a way to protect your work. So when I start to work I'm telling this to each client so to not have misunderstanding later.
