Hello Guys,

I need some advice or pointers - I am currently in the process of helping a local business with their Google My Business listing. The client is not computer literate so I want going to create a listing on their behalf. However, I am in another country and wanted to know if I create a Gmail account and a GMB listing on behalf of my client - will they receive the postcard or have any verification issues? Meaning my IP address will be from another country where I am currently at.

Or would you suggest me getting the client to do it themselves. Also, if I remote access into their computer via Zoom - will I be able to create the Gmail account and GMB listing for them..? Will it create an account with their local IP address which I remort access..?

Any guidance or pointers will help as I want to set it all up properly.

Thanks, Ket

Ah, yea good idea. I will look into this. Or maybe I will just talk them through how to do it via phone. That way the listing is created via their local IP address and once verified, I can ask the client to add me as an admin.

I think that is the best idea. Google like to be tired to the location and creating GMB from real local IP is very good and important point to start.
