I agree, although it really slows down the gmail loading time.
but yes it is worth it.

I have several sites that require registration....

One in particular , has thousands of members ..

From the beginning I realized that a-lot of the people signing up to my site

are using the same password for my site as they do for the email they sign up with.

It is retarded how this happens...but people tend to have one password that they

can remember , big mistake.

I can go right now to my admin panel and choose an email, and enter it.

But, I'm not a "hacker"...but yes, I do enter...just for fun..

1. brute-forcing passwords is mainly done in the movies. today it's loggers and malware that get passwords.

2. i prefer to vary my passwords, just in case. :D

Ouch sorry to hear ... I agree with HoneyBird!!! No one will ever be able to crack a 128 Character Password!!! :D

P.S. What's with the capitals? :p ;) :)

If you have Gmail phone verification you don't have to worry too much. Password will be sent directly to the phone.

my friend hacked 50 email/facebook accounts till now...his goal is to reach 100..lol!!:D

OMG 128 character. Now that is pretty strong. I use more than 30 alphanumeric combination password and i though that was very strong already. Man yours is 128. hehehe sweet....

Anyways OP if you don't want your accounts being hacked by some dude from somewhere. And believe me that hacker is not from brazil. his using some redirecting IP's confusing google from where it is sent. total untraceable that guy is good. Passwords is not just the other ways to make your email secure.

Make sure:
-You delete cookies every after logout
-Make sure your on a private network and private browsing is always on when accessing email and secure sites.
-Always check your URL for login it has to be https:// and not http://
-When accessing through a mobile browser (eg. phone, iphon etc mobile devices) well do not use the registration using the third party login. Always use a browser so that you have control on the security features of the browser.

Better change your password now..... Cheers hope i impart some little knowledge on you. ^^

My account was hacked by a chinese.
I have to change all pass now.

I hope your password isn't something like 123456789

Man he's right on the beach, nice spot to live.

On another note it is very unlikely that he guessed or bruteforced your PW. You need to run a virus scan and think about things you have run/downloaded or maybe a friend's computer you logged into gmail on. I almost guarantee this was a keylogger or something similar.

Mine got hacked this week. And he had changed the settings so that i couldnt get phone verifcation sms to change my password.

Then i had to sent a password theft complaint to google. And they asked all sorts of proof like when did u create your account,do u have blogger account, did u create orkut account, what othere services are you using with same gmail account etc....then they told me to enter a new email id to get password reset link for hacked account.

In a matter of 6 hours everything is normal now.
