Hi Guys,

My Gmail Account Got Fucked up today by some Shitty Hacker!

He just Sent Single Mail to 11 of my contacts
Accessed My Account from Mobile
IP Shows he is From Brazil


Hope that he didn't downloaded or copied any confidential data's from my account! :confused:

Sucks happened to me a few months ago (through from China).

Resecure your account man, hope you didnt have anything too sensitive sitting in the account.
 
that's why i'm using a 100-128 character long strong password with lower case, upper case, numbers and punctuation

Thanks Talsin! Just Changed Password to 30 Characters... All My Bank Account, VPS, Hosting, Clients Invoices, Project Details are stored on this Account.

When i Followed the link frm that sent mail, I can see another link to a url which is registered just on 16th aug 2010. Fucking thing here is That his domain isn't whois protected. It Shows Russian Address, Registered on Indonesian ICANN Registrar and his Fucking Server is hosted on Guangdong, CHINA! Approximately 600 Domains are Hosted on that server!!!

For the passwords you can use a tool like LastPass which is free and is available for Chrome and Firefox. It also works as a form filler.
 
i don't get it... what kinda password would you have had which was hackable? I thought we were past the days of people created passwords like their pets name lol

Do you have any idea where the leak or whole in your security lies?
 
You probably used the same password somewhere else. It is impossible to hack gmail.

Yep its hackable and i realized it now.

I Guess that some keylogger got into my system when i blasted through scrapebox. Avast blocked twice when Two Malware sites were accessed by scrapebox.
 
You are not the first to get fuck by scrapebox. Not the tool itself but the by the websitehe scraps. It would be a very easy way to hack scrape box user, simple create 100,000 simple do-follow blog, and scrape box will jump on it, and get a malware.

Moral of your story:
Get a VPS.

You're Right! I've 7 VPS. Just wanted to test scrapebox on my pc. Got Infected, Learned Lesson, Changing Passwords now on all my accounts to 200 Characters!!! :D

Prevention is Better Than Cure!

When you will select password always it should mixed with number and numeric and speical any symbol

it would be interesting to know where these numbers (the above mentioned 99%, 5-6 years ago) are exactly coming from besides you
and i really cannot help much, if somebody (you) cannot understand what does it mean lowering the chances to be hacked by using different strong passwords...
we can continue our pointless arguing for the eternity, but i have the feeling i'm talking to the wall

you don't have to prove anything of course, but you started the numbers game and you know without proofs you seem to be a noob playing with fictious numbers

but even if you deliver the stats, you can't really attack the simple fact if you're using strong passwords, it is lowering the chance to be hacked even if it's true what you're saying with that 99%
 
That must be key-logger your Anti-virus must be out of date them or it's not strong enough to catch such Trojan . Always try to update your Anti-Virus .
