Hello Again BHW Community!

I’ve decided to try journaling my journey about starting a small proxie business as a hobby to earn a few bucks.
I gave a little introduction about myself in the introduction thread, if some wanna have the backstory. But this thread is going to be where I show my progress and all the mines I will walk on, so there would be updates as I go.

So let’s start with the first thing for this project, I needed a hardware to act as a server for the proxy and I had a old laptop that I didn’t have used in some years since I read that you could even use a raspberry pi for the computing power.

Next thing was to be able to have multiple usb dongles connected to the laptop, so I ordered one USB hub with 16 ports and 2 dongles. And I also bought one mobile SIM card with unlimited data.

Meanwhile I waited for my order to arrive I could start fixing my computer, and the first thing to do was to reboot everything from windows to Linux, a simple task I thought…. I can tell you that it was not meant to be, everything went wrong, and I couldn’t get my laptop to accept the new Linux system. But I never gave in, so at last I managed to install fedora on my laptop.

I will cut here and continue write tomorrow, since I’m tired and I value a good nights sleep
I would also be happy to get in touch with you if you’re using proxies today and like what you prefer with things like ip rotation etc.
Cheers!

That sounds great. Where do your IPs come from?

That sounds like a great start to your proxy business! Keep pushing through the challenges, and once everything is set up, you’ll be able to refine the process and explore IP rotation for more stability.

Damn, I’ve missed that I’ve actually had response even tho I have slacked with the forums.

@GenesisOne
I am looking to start small with about 16 dongels to start with, and that I can afford, but am I missing something you’re thinking about?

@ristoriel
Thanks! I’ve managed to have multiple dongles with different profiles and separate IP rotations via API but having some challenges right now with them clashing, just need to put down some thinking time and I’m sure I will manage it.

Just hope there is a market for high quality mobile residential proxy’s. Thinking of being in the price range 70-110 eur/ month but that is for never used ip’s and not shared and unlimited/ 100gb.

Will also try take more time for the forum and add to my journey thread.

Cheers for now!

That sounds like a solid plan, and with high-quality, unique IPs, there’s definitely a market
