I was alpha testing the Aliexpress affiliate plugin Yaros made first, that's how he got the idea to create Alidropship. I wasn't ready for the headache the dropshipping business could bring, so I didn't start back then.
He had a great journey thread with a Harry Potter dropshiping website called World of Harry, where he documented his journey which was very informative. Unfortunately it was closed by mods since it was considered promotional about the plugin (no idea why since he was already planing to sell his plugin in the BHW marketplace, but he didn't yet since it was still in alpha.)

I've set up a dropshipping site last month with Alidropship (not the woocommerce version) and I'm building my store slowly, still waiting for that first order.
The hard part is building the audience and attracting buyers. It's been a week now that I've started using powerlikes for instagram, but I'm seeing no results yet.

How did you build up your instagram account, are the followers legit and with buyer intent? (I guess not, otherwise you'd keep the site for yourself).

I'm also doing pinterest, and searching for group boards where I can pin my products to.

Having another ready set-up site to get more serious about dropshipping would be more than welcome.

As I stated this was one of my first IM attempts so I was missing some important points about traffic generation and many other things.
For targeting I used a feature of the plugin Social Rabbit which consents to follow the followers of certain pages; I followed all cuisine/recipes accounts followers so the account followers are somehow targeted.

Meanwhile I abandoned this site in particular, I used a similiar but "evolved" approach on a different shopify dropship site later when I mastered IG automation which I was using in CPA.
I changed all the accounts bios accordingly to promote the site and automated them with Massplanner with follow/unfollow "method" .
This generated sales almost istantly with relatively few accounts (10-12 if I remember well) but this time I was more skilled about automation and targeting. I used the "satellites" account as churn/burn just as a test and also if it produced good results I left the things to move on other tests/ projects (yes, I made a lot of them).
In this test all the products was "free + shipping" model and followers was laser-targeted; the satellites account had the image of the product and the link to the product page on the shopify site.

If today I wanted to try make it works for real with Instagram traffic, once all the rest is perfect (product descriptions, logo, funnels, countdown plugins etc etc) I would try with a service like the one which @proxified offers (basically point 500 satellites account to a main one, with full profiled bio and link ), just to avoid the hassle to setup myself 4-500 satellites accounts.
