Gifs that link to page

hello guys , i've been lately seeing special GIF posts , when you click in the picture it redirects you to the facebook page who shared it ! although the GIFs are from giphy.com not from a specific website or anth else , i wonder if you have any information about that

I dont know If I understand your question correctly but you can just wrap the 'img' inside an 'a' and link it to whatever. When you get a gif dont embed it right click and get "copy image address" that will just give you the source link. Then <a href=your-link ><img src=img-link ></ a>

Yes, sorry i am late and u found the answer only giphy.com provide the url shortening service. Just click on any gif file on the giphy and click on the small chain button on the right side. It will give you some links and in one column which will be blank u can write ur page or whatever else any link but these things work only for posting on fb or twitter u can't finally extract gifs from them but these can be a good source of getting people to ur page by sharing vary rare and awesome gifs.


Even cooler: With the Giphy Link Shortener, you can play a GIF and have it click-through to any URL. All possible with sharing just ONE link!

Click on the [SHORTEN] button underneath located under any Giphy GIF

Paste the link you’d like the GIF to click-through to and click [SHORTEN]
