what about appsflyer? they have something like that on their profile image

The feature is only available to company profiles, not personal ones.

Thanks for your reply. But its not working. I have tried for company page as well.

It was available for a while since last year, but apparently it's suspended now. Uploaded gifs still work, but you can't upload new ones at the moment.

Check the description and comments of this Youtube video, which explains how to do it:

"FEB 2019 NOTE: LinkedIn seems to have suspended the ability to save GIFs. Hopefully, it's just temporary!"

Because now I have uploaded a simple JPG image replacing the GIF on the page profile picture.

You mean apart from the bit in the video description and the comments from actual LinkedIn users?
The video is not that important now, go to Youtube and read the comments there, from the looks of it, the option was removed 2 weeks ago, give or take. At least that's when people started to comment about it, some say, they can still upload the gif, but aren't able to save it.

If you're looking for an official announcement by LinkedIn regarding this, i don't think that you'll find one, just like there was none, when they made the gif profile picture option available last year. Maybe they were just testing and decided not to allow it anymore or maybe it will be back. No-one knows at this point.
