Ghost Banned on Instagram? Try this solution!

Hey, guys I really don't know if Ghost Banning exists, Instagram and social networks don't mention anything about being ghost banned. But I have an account with 34k followers, really important for me because is my main brand.

And suddenly the account begin to acting weird:

- BIG drop on engagment, Less than 1% of people was liking my posts.
- BIG drop on daily new followers. I was gaining around 150 new followers (organically) and then 40 and 30 new followers.
- Couldn't follow all the accounts: I hit the follow button in certain profiles and change to [Following], then I refresh the profile and the Follow button was on [+Follow]. That means that even using follow liker, some user didn't get the notification of my follow.


I was desperate and down, but I try this:

TEMPORARILY DISABLE MY ACCOUNT.

Yes!. Try it by yourself.

Go to Instagram website (not the app), login and Edit Profile, You'll see the option.

I did it, and wait for almost 2 weeks.

Then I decide to try again, and enable my account and BOOM!:

- My first post got 1,300+ Likes (That's nearly 4% of engagement far different from the 200 crappy likes I was having)
- 144+ New followers that day (back to normal)
- I was able to FOLLOW the people that I couldn't follow, the following button never reverts back to Follow and people get the notification of my following.


This is my FRESH test. That was just yesterday. I'm still testing. But if you think you lose an account you can try this.

I don't if it works only temporary disabling a day or a couple of days, but I try 2 weeks. You can test your own settings.

I didn't know you can temporarily disable your Instagram account. Should try this one out! Thanks for sharing!

that's great! the more we test it the more we know for sure this thing is working.

Is like resetting your account.

This is great. Im disabling mine for 12hrs..in the morning ill post a photo and see if I notice any difference. My better photos get 5K likes in 24hrs and my others get 3.5k-4K. So if I post a good one and gets over 6K then I know this will be fucking with their jew engagement formula.

If 12hr break doesn't do much ill test on 24hr break.

Hearing about some users who deactivated and then once reactivated back again a message popup's up that account has been disabled for violating terms....

I encountered some sort of Ghosting while following people manually on Bluestacks. Easiest fix was to change IP,Device ID and GUID. Worked every time!

Same trick works also for dead facebook pages . Unpublish the page for few days and reach is up after publishing it again.

It's possible you were just following too many people before and needed a break, regardless of the disable - waiting 2 weeks might have fixed it alone

Interesting, I didn't know IG had an option to temp disable the account. I have many accounts which have very low engagement. I will give this a try.

seems like IG doesn't like people go, right in those feels :x

Did 24 hours... didnt work for me. will try longer for a week and see if that saves it.

Deactivated mine aswell.

I did 12hrs and made no difference. Although my account isn't really 'ghosted' so to speak. Just hoping that this might of given it more of a kick.
