Getting trouble in getting EIN number

I have applied for incorporation on Jan 7 2025 but I have not received my EIN number yet. I hired wyomingllcattorney to complete the registration process for me. What If I will call IRS, what details do they need from me to verify my identity or the best advice is to wait few more weeks?

if you applied early january it's still within normal processing times sometimes it takes 6 weeks or more if you call the irs they'll ask for the business name address responsible person's ssn or itin and maybe other details if you're in a hurry did you check with wyomingllcattorney if they have an update ?? otherwise there are services that do it faster but you gotta see if it's worth it

If you used WyomingLLCAttorney, contact them first - they may already have an update or EIN. Also, there are fee-based services that speed up getting an EIN, but I'm not sure it's worth it unless you're stuck waiting for weeks.

EIN's are usually instant if you file online. You get them from the IRS.

If you call the IRS, they will ask for the business name, address, application date, and responsible party’s name. Getting an EIN can take 4 to 8 weeks. If it’s been less than 8 weeks, it’s best to wait; otherwise, call +1-267-941-1099.

You can call the IRS with your business name, responsible party details, business address to check on your EIN status. However, since it’s only been a couple of months, it might be best to wait a few more weeks. You could also check with WyomingLLCAttorney for any updates or you can call to Irs on "267-941-1000" if you live outside USA.
