I am a total newbie and I have gone over this site for the past week, yet I am still finding out what to do.

I created a website based on my personal niche and have good quality content. I also downloaded the All in one SEO from wordpress.

    However

There is another site out there that is my main competitor, that whenever I type in keywords to my pages and posts, his site is always up first and mine is nowhere to be seen. His site also does not have the kind of content that I have. I've put in a lot of backlinks through Youtube and others yet I was wondering what I should do to get started with Black Hat SEO techniques.

Any information and links to other threads would be appreciated. Thanks

    Listen noob.

BlackHat SEO ain't just a get rich quick scheme.

Either you have a viable/amazing website already or you don't.

You still need a quality website to engage in blackhat SEO. You can't just setup shop overnight and make millions.

Generally speaking, I suggest to start with 1 or 2 strategies and work them until you are happy with the result before moving onto other methods. If you are interested in building backlinks, read up on scrapebox and xrumer then either buy some services from this site or get scrapebox and spending a couple of weeks studying what you can do with the tool. It's easy to get caught up in all the value provided here, but if you are systematic in your approach you will have better results. All the best.

could take awhile, youtube backlinks are generally no follow. dont know what your keyword competition is, so its just impossible to say. scrapebox is probably a good tool along with amr. best way would be to get a vps with the software already installed. good luck

If his site came first and yours is nowhere to be seen then he is not your competitor... He is {The|Your} {Boss|God}.

    Haha, joking aside...

Do a bit of social bookmarking first if your site is new.

Think about it in this way - what makes a new site viral?

Some Social Bookmark and {comments|forums} links here and there and then after awhile {someone|a lot of people} (yourself simulating them) picking up your links and make more links to spread your links. That means, go blast your buffer sites.

Article marketing and ScrapeBox links have done the job for me in some medium competition keywords. If you aint got the money or aint ready to use these tools just go ahead and buy some of the service in this forum / fiverr.

And be patient too... You'll wake up one morning and find your site jumping a few ranks some day.
