Getting started advice.

Hello, I have been trying to get my foot in the door with IM for some time now (2 years) and have made some very small change online to date (about 15 bucks in two years)
I finally buckled down and started building websites. I built one for my Wife which is beginning to get some good traffic, and I am working on my own.
I built a niche blog and have added a cj affiliate store section with many categories (all niche essential) and approximately 200 products per category using cjwizard.

The site looks great, it has some small traffic but I haven't pushed the campaign yet so I expect it to have more. I am just curious if others think this kind of site model blog+store with that many products seems viable?
I am going to give it a go either way considering how much effort I have put into it, but I would like to know what others think and also any info on what Google thinks about such a site would be appreciated.

I would say- too many products. Stick to your keywords that's where it all starts. It'll be dead hard to generate right traffic for all those different product categories. Not saying, can't be done, but hey start simple, master the process, rinse and repeat- that is IM.

Thanks for the reply. Nice to know there are people out there willing to help.

I'm not really planning on trying to get direct traffic to my product pages. I plan on bringing the traffic to the blog and gently redirect them to the store.
So long as I have decent and unique content I don't think that should be a problem correct?

just test it our bro nobody can know what would be good for you . test it and find it out thats how IM works
