Getting search results from google, but indexed pages as zero.

Hi,

Well, I am a little bit confused about something and am sure my bhw genius friends will be able to guide me

My site has a Google Page Rank 1, I am getting daily visits from google search, My site is showing as google page 1 for a few of my keywords, but in webmaster tools, it is showing my google backlinks close to 6000. but, my indexed pages is zero.

Isnt it strange?

Why could that be so ?? Has it happened with anyone else here too?

try it with site:non www and www

Oh yeah, now it is showing indexed pages.

But I still didnt get it, Why is google considering both of them different?

What is the solution to tackle this problem?
