Getting rejected in every damn job interview

This seems a bit suspicious, having SM skill alone is hardly going to be a risk of anyone becoming too big for their boots.

That's probably because most companies want friendly and communicative person. Smiling and exposing your palms (sign of honesty) during your interviews increase your chances with 100%

Is this for real? You need someone between 18-25 years and want them to have 'atleast' 10 years of experience- so basically they should have got a coding job when they were around 8-15 year old, with having knowledge of 8 languages? Simply Wow, man.
 
This is very common in the corporate world. Experience, knowledge most of the time is not enough. The same exact thing also happened for a friend of mine who couldn't land a job because of his lack of social skills.

As others said, don't try to be exceptional in your interview as they might even be jealous of your skills and the experience you have. They have some kind of harmony on their team who are not looking for entrepreneurs but just for regular workers who will do what is told, nothing else.

Why you don't keep with freelancing? If you really have the skills you have, I'm pretty sure you won't have any problem finding a decent job as a remote worker for a company?

Passionate people learn from young age as a hobby. They want to hire the best programmers. I knew someone who was 12 years old, and he programmed games in C++. Programming isn't something that you learn from a book, but something that you learn working and need to think how to achieve the goal.

This is very true. Although skills are nice, candidates usually learn on the job anyway, so these marketing agencies don't focus on that alone. The agency I worked for only had a handful of people with experience and/or marketing degrees. Everyone else pretty much just got basic training, learned as they went, and became good at what they did.

You also have to factor in the fact a lot of these companies usually already know who they're going to hire anyway. Interviews are just a formality. Most of the time the candidate was referred by an employee, and their word is gonna go a long way. Don't take it personal, it's just a numbers game.
 
bro you are not getting rejected because of your experience or skills there are many reasons getting rejected for
1. your salary expectation and the company salary budget
2. you are too good maybe better than your line manager! so his opinion to the HR will be no he is not good enough
3. they found a better person
and many more bro so my idea for you to call the HR back and talk to him that you understand they didn't call you for reason and you hope to know it so you can improve your skills

Man searching for jobs and doing shitty interviews by dumb people is the worst. Stay self employed.
 
I've sat through a lot of interviews (as the interviewer) and can probably point you in the right direction.

Update - I got the job :D

Thanks for the support guys - I truly appreciate the responses.

So the plan is to work in this company for a couple of months until I learn some additional set of skills including "employee handling" :P. Hopefully, I should also be able to get my life on track during this time frame.

So, it's going to be 9 hours of office work and 4 hours of working on my own project - in total 13 hours of work per day. I kinda feel proud of myself :D

Jokes aside, I'm sure that this job will expand my overall exposure and I'll get to learn some new IM techniques. The best part - I'll have access to all sorts of SEO and SMM tools ;)

13 hours a day? Those are rookie numbers. You gotta get those numbers up step yo game up.

Aim for 24 hours and take it from there.

Yeah man, but it's probably best to start with baby steps. Maybe someday I would be able to scale this to 24 hours or even 30 hours a day

Ahahaha 30 hours a day. Better do it while young cuz the older you get the more sleep youll need and the less productive hours youll be able to put in. Hah
 
I know how it is man ...

It happend to me too , when I tried to get hired in a medium SEO company (has 13-15 employes)

At the interview I showed the big boss (a nice guy , few years older than me) how to do some stuff that apparently he was trying for a long time (fiding some hidden competitor backlinks that he couldnt find) , he didnt know how to do it. After I showed him that and talked more about things I can do, I thought I am already hired. At the end, with a big smile on his face he said : You are a clever guy, I think you would be good for this company , you know alot of stuff BUT you dont have the experience we need . I was like WTF ? Really ?

So yeah ! When the big guys shut a door with the smile on their face just probably because you know something that they dont, go to next interview or try to make something on your own .... and do it with a smile :) Once 1 door is closed, 2 more are opened.

Maybe they don't deserve you. Stop trying too hard. Also, stop thinking about this negatively and eventually you will land a good one. Don't think that you are the only one who gets rejected because tons of really skilled applicants get rejected every day. Just keep your head up and keep applying. Best wishes and hope the things turnaround great for you!
 
What it really comes down to is it's not what you know it's who you know. Try Networking, join social media like linked in. Ask your friends and family if they know any companies hiring.

Dont forget the masters degree in engineering and finance
 
Why don't you do freelancing when doing part-time shift in a menial job ??? You just quit this when your freelancing career is taking off.
That would be way great than seeking for internal position in agencies.
