Getting my first PBN site, content repurposed but everything else relevant

I've found a domain that had very related content to my money site many years ago, has a related domain name and many highly related anchor text / backlinks.

The thing is it's content has been re-purposed twice the past few years and the content is unrelated currently. It's indexed in google and shows as the first result when searching for it, so I guess it's penalty free.

Would this still be worth grabbing due to the two content/niche changes? Could I just grab the old content as long as it's nowhere else on the web, replace it all and return to the original niche without issues?
