getting hold of a domain - help

Hi all


There is a domain i want to get a hold on, now when you enter it to the browser you get into a godaddy page that says: "NOTICE: This domain name expired on 02/25/2013 and is pending renewal or deletion."


but when i search goddady or goddady auctions it's not available there...


any idea on how can i get a hold on this one?

You have to wait until the 1 month grace period is up. Then it'll be back into the system and you can buy it from there. Otherwise, the owner still has the chance to renew it during this period.

how do i know when the month ends? also, i want to buy it when it is still indexed - how can i make sure it is?

You've just got to check daily AFAIK, unless anyone else knows a more efficient way. Usually dropped domains stay indexed for a while before they get dropped out so you're good there.

try moniker or snapnames, you can "backorder" a domain meaning that in case owner will not renew and the domain will drop you will have a chance to get it, or you can auction it out later in competition with others
