Getting accepted as an Amazon affiliate in 2019?

Hello,

I am thinking of creating an amazon affiliate website after reading a lot of journeys and because my niche is best marketed with Amazon products. Now my question is, as someone who has relatively new websites (one in English and one in French) with not a lot of traffic, what are my odds of getting accepted? And what do I need to do to be accepted in terms of content, traffic, ..etc. I live in France if that makes a difference.

Doesn't matter about living in France, I live in Spain. All you need to do is apply to the platforms you wish to use such as .com, .co.uk. .fr etc on Amazon.

Get the site or blog up, generate 3 sales in the first 180 days and you should be fine.

So Amazon has introduced a new rule wherein I would need to generate 3 sales in 180 days?

If not do they close the account or they can reconsider if I decide to start again?

For as long as I remembered (which is not very long though). You must generate 3 sales to be fully approved. Yes, you can start again with the same details after the 180 days with no sale.

To the OP, it is better to have some amount of traffic that will convert to sales in 180 days and have the primary pages like contact us, affiliate policy, etc.

It doesn’t matter how much traffic you have or if your website is new. Everyone can get into the Amazon Affiliate program. Also, as already mentioned, you will need to make three qualifying sales in the first 180 days. If you don’t, your account will be closed. In that case, you will need to make certain adjustments to your website and reapply.

I have same problem i have quality website and they dont accept me ;(

To the last poster, please describe what do you do so they do not accept you at all or something ? Do you really make it worthy or not ? How do you want to make it going ? Are you really crazy ? You should simply apply and be good to go anywhere.

I don't know why anyone bothers with Amazon. They have pathetic commission rates.

That is only because you haven't thought it out.

If you use the WooZone Amazon Plugin to build a WooCommerce Amazon store, then if they use your shopping cart and they check out, the products can be stored in THEIR Amazon shopping cart with a 90 DAY COOKIE.

If they don't buy what you are promoting, but they keep shopping in that 24 hours, then you get paid for everything they buy.

Sounds pretty good to me.

MY account got banned due to no sales activity, so i would recommend building and ranking a website first

What if the customer buys 10products? That is not really going to amount to much because (like I said) the commission rate is too low.

Besides standard cookies only last for 24hours. The 90-day cookie duration is for specialized links. You can also get the 90-day cookie duration, if you build a cart with a large number of articles.

If you are in electronics, there’s no really great alternative to Amazon, which I know of.

But if you are in the health niche, markethealth.com pays really high commissions. You can get about 50 to 60% commissions from markethealth.com products. By the way, the standard cookie duration of market health is 30days.

Look, I have no doubt that some guys are really riding high with Amazon. Kuddos to all the guys making big money with Amazon.

For me, I am of the opinion that anyone with a long-term strategy needs to stay away from Amazon. Amazon is a big company; as a result, they have a big huge red target on the back.

They are constantly in the crosshairs of social justice warriors.
Just look at what happened to all their affiliates in Colorado

The future is in smaller specialized networks. Of course, every strategy carries its own risks. However, in my evaluation, the situation of Amazon is more precarious.
