Getting a shadow banned account back. New Way

Hey guys just wanted to update you guys! I had a weird shadow ban that happened where I couldn't see any notifications from anyone, also those users weren't receiving anything from myself. like follows, likes, comments etc. they would all still happen, but they were never notified. Anyways i tried everything for a week and i was still "shadow banned" from everything and was losing hope. Then i decided to join an auto round engagement group to like to a different account, and the usual go to app and verify its you logging in thing comes up. I verified it was me logging in from that device and BOOM everything went back to normal! My engagement was good and follows were 150+ a day before, during ban they went to -100 a day and now they are back to 30-40 a day + . I've learned a lot over the past 4 months from here so if I could help anyone out by posting this I figured I should! I've learned a lot from @tux and reading @imGrej and @VapeMonkey and have started evolving my new accounts in the right direction away from hashtags and F/U. Just wanted to say thanks you guys and hope to help people in the forumn in a more vocal way from here on out!

so how did you manage to do it ? just logg on from a different location ?

Anything that will force a "location" verification can do it. I had a bot autoliking and engagment round, but a number of 3rd party apps force the same verification
 
I had tried everything from not using the account , deleting all hashtags, mass unfollowing people, nothing worked, but that did!
 
@benman44 I think this is what happened- when you used the auto-round it triggered location verification AS WELL AS GENERATED A NEW CLEAN DEVICE for you. All bots emulate mobile devices and it seems like your old device is flagged. Same happened with @duceduc and he came out of the shadow-ban when he did a reset of his iPhone. It's not usually a thing that will work with everyone though.

Thanks for the info. You said you're getting away from hashtags. Do you use only a few number, or none at all?

talking to other senior members the consensus seems to be none. I'm only one week into the new strategy so we will see how it goes!

I could see that but the device wasn't flagged the account was. Any device i tried it on wouldnt work, phones, computers, friends phones laptops, school computers everything. Now that the location got verified again it works across the board.

OK, but, then how will those that don't follow your account, know about you if you don't show up on any hashtag searches?
Is this strategy only for those that follow you?

So far, this week, have you seen any changes? More likes, more comments, more followers, or the opposite?

Well you'd have to ask @tux that question specifically as hes the one thats been really successful with no hashtags. The main way is to get dm likes/power likes to spike your post up the chain until they hit explore. thats when the followers come in. Im only a week in and have only gotten 50 followers, this is mostly due to my networks reach not being near the ammount as big players. Mine is roughly 4-5mill reach per post. where his and others are more like 40-50million per post. big difference. The key is time and putting in the work to grow your networks reach. If you read and see Vapemonkey and others posts they can get up to 10k followers really quickly like a week. due to their reach being so large and explore page helping them out.

Then IG will send you an email with a random code to verify. Make sure to follow that instruction directly and wait for their response. I got my disabled account back after 3 days. Remember to have wait it out because a lot of people are having the same issue so it will take them a while to get to you, but they will get to you.
 
@benman44 Thank you for this idea. I've been shadowbanned since the infamous hack took place the other day and nothing has worked to restore my hashtag visibility. I tried your trick and unfortunately I still don't show up for hashtags. Weird thing is, I can't even disable my account as IG says it has been disabled in the past week. I've never disabled the account before though. I'm bummed about this whole shadowban issue, I've been super conservative on Instagram and only recently started getting somewhere, major FOMO going on. Reality is sinking in that I may have to start from scratch :( Really interested in how you're moving away from hashtags though, and if that's at all possible for a small account with the ability to still get noticed.

Because I think my account is flagged, never going viral, but likes get noticed though..

Joining an engagement group solves the shadow ban?
You opened this thread to tell the solution but the thing you are talking about is what you have been through and the people you learned from. Can you explain what is that magical solution that you are talking about....?
