Getting a gaming channel noticed

So by the title you get what this is about. I've played around with buying views from fiveer and that proved to be a good idea, and I'm just wondering, do I keep up just buying views, likes, comments until my channel ultimately gets noticed or is there more that I can do? I'm really very new to all this SEO thing, but I'm willing to do what I need to in order to make this channel take off and I'm not about slow growth over 2.5 years and have 1500 subs to show for it.

I've got a Facebook, a Twitter, I'm thinking about starting a website just for branding purposes. So really I'm taking a white/black hat approach at this. I just need some expert input on anything else I can do.

Buying backlinks to youtube videos is also a great idea, because this will make your videos rank higher inside youtube

You need to spend your money on the right things. If your content is actually awesome, spend on TRUE promotion by hitting up bloggers, youtubers and websites in your niche. Even look into press releases like on prweb. You need real people and lots of them visiting your videos. Buying faked stats is a nice boost but don't rely on them as they're not actually promoting you like advertising can. Be willing to contribute for free on large sites in exchange for your name or link dropped on their page. Get creative!

good advice..best way is be natural and dont get crazy trying to trick results

First off, thanks for everyone who posted.

So, let me see if I got this. Buy backlinks, dump the fake stats, get in touch with real people, bloggers, youtubers, gaming sites possibly. Just generally getting out there and interacting with people and getting my content on bigger sites with lots of traffic...

Basically right?

i would suggest you to start getting content together and then use tools to send in the community messages with "hey i saw you were interseted in this and that check out my videos"

You got it! Use your fake stats as "spice", not too much but enough to get things rolling. Especially because they help you rank in Youtube, where quality backlinks help you rank on Google (depending on your keyword(s).
Search around (even on this forum) for tumblrs, facebooks, youtubes, blogs of the same/related niche and pay/ask to share your videos to their audience. Honestly the ball starts rolling faster on its own after you get it in peoples faces because they'll share it too.
You'll need to spend money, but it's the fertilizer to your garden. Feed it and it will grow.

I receive this shit constantly and I never visit. It's tacky and shows you don't earn from your craft.

Getting fake views and likes doesn't really do anything, it makes you seem popular though witch can be good. If you want to get noticed make lots of good quality videos. The top 10 gaming channels all get popular games at the midnight release, play them nonstop through the night to be one of the first videos launched. I remember when black ops first came out there was one youtuber set on being the first to reach 15th prestige. You have to do something that other gaming channels wont do, you cant just make videos on gamers that are saturated you need to find new and fresh games that are popular that there aren't any videos on.

Try Reddit...social traffic is not so good for CPC but it's great to get your product known.

Reddit is filled with gamers, it's probably a good way to get your channel out there.
