Anyway I don't know if this would be useful to allot of people but if your in need of building up your connections on Linkedin then this will get you connections fast as most of the people there are also seeking to build their connections.
One useful thing that I found out about Linked in is that you can use it to promote yourself to your clients as your connections can endorse you with the skills you have highlighted to have,for example im a web designer so I listed that I have skills in html,css etc. And some of my connections without even asking endorsed me with the skills (Hoping that I would do the same) meaning that they agree and perhaps I have proven to them that I have those skills by showing it to them.
Step 1: Go to website toplinked DOT com (Im not sure if i can post the actual website URL but im sure you will know how to get there)
Step 2: Click the "click here to sign up!" button to sign up.
Step 3: Fill in your details (You don't need to fill in your real details but if you do your details will be added to a list where others can add you to their Linkedin connections).Make sure to select from Membership plan the "Free (invite me list linkedin list download only)".
Step 4: Confirm your account with the email you have provided.
Step 5: Go to your account then click the "Build your network tabs"
Step 6: Now click on the "click here to go to download page for the invite me list for linkedin"
Step 7: You can download the csv files 9pages long over 1000+ emails
Step 8: Login to your Linked then go to connections-add connections-copy and paste the csv email files into the box and send the invitations.
Note: Toplinked only gives you the emails of the people who registered on that day,so if you plan to add more then wait till the next day and sign up again (with another account as they only allow you to sign up once and do not allow you to log back in once you you log out, not sure why :S).
