tested it and it's working fine. thanks again OP. i already changed the time interval to 1-2 minutes for following. my account is 6 months old so i hope i'm not going to run into trouble.

Don't get greedy with it. Just make sure you have as many followers as people you follow, for example: You reach a a follow of 1700 users but only have 300 followers, at some point twitter will notice that such operation is abnormal so they stop your account from sending follow actions, what you have to do is unfollow those that don't follow you back and then keep following again, play with the follow/unfollow options, none of my accounts have been blocked so far.

The best interval in my opinion is 5 to 8 minutes although it takes a long time to follow 1000 users you can leave it running for the weekend. If you want to get fast results 2 to 3 minutes but make sure to monitor your account so it doesn't get blocked.
