how did you get him 50k followers in 3 weeks?? you can only follow 1k per day on an account... thats 7k a week x 3 is 21k max that can be followed in 3 weeks.. i use this method and get about a 30-60% return in followers so doing this for 3 weeks is nowhere near 50k followers.. i currently have 130k real followers doing this method but its taken MONTHS AND 20K were already real fans of mine. still no verification email and certainly not 50k in 3 weeks so if you have a better method pls inform me! i follow users who are following accounts very similar to mine. A response would be appreciated!

I believe the key is "blowing yourself up" on twitter with real followers (not buy fake and then do nothing) and then waiting for a response from them. I have another artist I took on about the same time and I also got him 50,000 REAL followers so I'm waiting to see if this theory proves to be true.

Guys listen. It`s not about how much followers you got how much money you make per day from your website or YouTube account. It`s always been and will be about relationships, the people who you know who can help you with that.

There are people with 300 followers verified because they know powerful people, people who got lots of connections. No one gives a damn about you if you don`t know the right people, it`s always been like that for example in music it`s not enough to just get signed by a record label if that record label does not have connections with those from Twitter etc etc you won`t get verified.

Special cases ? Sure. there were a few people with lots of followers who were getting impersonated hence they got verified, but that doesen`t mean you will have the same luck.
Advice? Build relationships with important people try to develop stuff with them ask for partnership etc.
 
it seems most people are on the out on this rather than being on the "in" It would be nice if a verified account made a blog on how they did it. It seems it's all a secret. I've seen people fake the verified check by just photo shopping it in, but it doesn't appear if you go through your followers.
 
Well I Believe In Giving Free Information & I Know Most Of You Just Want An Email Address For Someone That Does This Service Lol So If You Email ----> MNIViralMedia (At) Gmail They Do Twitter Verifications! Now This Is NOT A Free Service But They Do Get The Job Done I've Seen Them Do Alot Of Music Acts BUT I'm Fairly Sure They Can Do Any Account So There You Go I Hope This Info Was Helpful :)

I have been trying to get several celebrities verified for months but it seems even if your famous unless you make twitter loads of money or you pay a ton of money your not getting verified. So I stated a page on FB about it to help celebs out with info about Twitters "scandal" the FB page is called Im a Celebrity Verify me Twitter.
 
Why would someone need a verified twitter acc.? I see, if you're a celebrity but they are well known in the public

i know this is an old thread but it's the one that comes up at the top of a google search

the way you get verified without being scouted is by simply contacting them inside the industry. i worked in the new york fashion scene for a few months for a designer and all he had to do was ask his PR firm and they take care of it. another person i knew in LA, a has-been musician from the 80's who you wouldn't have heard of (had less than 100 twitter followers) who works in property development now did the same thing, just put the request in to his PR firm and they take care of it. i do not have any contacts for you, but that's how i've seen it done. hope that helps
 
Its not very difficult, all it is, is knowing the right people ;) Make a phone call and they'll have you verified in no time.
