Likewise ^^^ on 65k
How would I go about contacting them privately?
Hi, for you to get your account verified you must first checked the e-mail you have used on that account and if the spelling was correct. Then click in the yellow pop-up message, click the button verify your e-mail address. Go to your mail box and click in the confirmation link given by twitter. After which it's done. You will see the blue check icon beside your indicating that your account was verified.![]()
I don't think I should put it here but I have an idea. I'll pm you.

Those little blue checks don't come cheap if you aren't a household name. And that might be a good thing. We know first hand how much power those blue "verified" check marks have on Twitter as we witnessed from the fake, yet briefly authenticated account purporting to belong to Wendi Deng. They've also become status symbols since the company shut down the process to apply for them in 2010. Nowadays only famous people seem to get them (finally a Kardashian has something in common with Barack Obama). But you can buy get one too, if you spend enough money on Twitter advertising or if you get famous enough to incite "impersonation issues"--which makes for a nifty "Celebrity or $15,000" test next time you follow a verified account (though there are caveats--since some blue checks were grandfathered in before the process was shut down)
Something i stumbled upon:

Got a spare 15,000?
Thanks for sharing! Very interesting.
So basically I would need to spend 15K advertising with them to have a chance of getting verified?
or somehow become an internet twitter celebrity...or something of the sort. I've had a few ideas to try, that im going to put into action next week though.
You have to be a Youtube celebrity or a famous blogger or site owner. For example @D8Ashley is verified for being a contestant on some season of dancing with the stars with very little followers. I've seen Magazines, Celebs, Politicians, Brands, and Customer Service people get a verified sign. However 'quote pages' (even the big one like lord voldemort 7) never get verified.
http://twitter.com/#!/verified/following is a list of all verified accounts. There are some weird accounts there like @AskMen_MIA
That link redirects me to the homepage?

yeah all real![]()
Maybe they go by number of fans and followers. I they see 200000 they may have a verify light go off.
