I get asked daily "How do I get that tick beside my Twitter name"

Does anyone know how to go about getting an account verified?

Yes, I have seen that link.

Just thought there may be some method to get them verified as I saw someone selling verified accounts.

twitter closed curruntly verified accounts for public ..!! its only available for celebrity

i think the ones are fiverr are referring to the email address being verified not obtaining verified status. as the help page says on twitter:
