    You're welcome!

For those of you wondering who Robert Collier is, he's the guy that originated the dollar letter. A letter for promoting charity, with a core message like:

'Hey Mr. X, I decided to donate $1,000 to XY-Charity. But then I thought to myself, what will $1,000 change? So I decided to buy 1,000 post stamps and send $1 to to 1,000 people, asking them to add what ever amount they would be willing to donate to XY-Charity."

    It was a HUGE success.

Thanks a lot OP. I wonder if you have any of the books in the Hard To Find (?) Classic ADvertising Books thread.
Unfortunately, I can't post the link to the thread.
It would be great if you could share any of John Caples', especially Tested Advertising Methods (4th edition) or Pete Barry's The Advertising Concept. I hope that's not too much trouble for you.

@TheVigilante They were exceptional. With the exception of Cashvertizing, I haven't checked any of the modern copywriting books. Did you notice a gap in quality when comparing the old and the new copywriting books?

Old books has a lot of gems actually, i personally choose excellent books like Cashvertising then i check the book recommended on the last page and i went from there it has a list of both old & new ones.

The problem with new books on copywriting and actually with most of the books now, is that they are written by folks who only want to make some money, they have no clue about the business.

You might want also to check books on "Social engineering" and Consumer Psychology, they are helpful on copywriting even if they are too boards but you can find some helpful formula & advices .
