Just used to get a .net domain

pretty sure .com .org works.

Same here, meaning that you need to have CC attached within your PayPal account.

The trick is to simply transfer the domain to your preferred registrar after the 60 day waiting
period in which you typically get a nice transfer discount/price on your second year so the
$35 renewal becomes a moot point.
