Get rare IG usernames

Hello, I am very interested in attaining a username from an instagram accountbthat is completely inactive.. What is the best way I can get it?


I heard some people are able to get into accounts with rare usernames as long as they are inactive... hmmm

Just go to IG and try to create an acct in that username. It will say if its taken or available.
 
Unless you are trying to purchase someone else's account that has followers already theres no other reason for your question, because you can just sign up for free to get an account.
 
True, unless you're a celebrity, knows someone who works at Instagram or can afford to pay big time, I guess that's your only chance to get a rare or inactive username.
 
I think that once a name is taken, unless that account changes their name (which I don't see happening) you will not be able to have that name.
