[GET] My PHP Article Scraper & Spinner

@artlocke : Use WAMP it should be working just fine. Moreover, WAMP is kind of the base of IM ;)

AMR is going to warm my computer all night thank you again ;)

Would you be able to add more sources for articles ? And why not custom ones dunno if it is easy or not.

I'm a little noob about this so I don't have an idea of how to set up a local server. Though I can spend sometime learning it I was just thinking that you might get it work on host server first before I have it run on a local server. :) anyway reputation and thanks given.. Really a great help.

It's actually very simple.
you download wamp server from here

http://www.wampserver.com/en/download.php
Install it then extract the spun.zip inside the www folder in c:\wamp
Go to start ->all programs and run start wampserver
Now you can access the tool at localhost/spun
 
@artlocke : THis should help you. It isn't really complicated actually 30 minutes to get a done deal.

I have throw an eye through the how to, i dunno if they mention it.

But once you have set up the WAMP server, then you go to C:/wamp/www you drop the "spun' folder there.

THen you go to your browser and type in the adress field : "localhost"

You click on spun on the sidebar on your left and that's it
 
Got it up and running in my VBox.
Works fine on XP.

Have you tried to lower the number of articles? set it to 5 then post your result here.
 
Well i checked it on server and it produces same error code......
Warning: file_get_contents(articles\blushing3452783\article 1847310.txt) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in... /class.php on line 134 ??
it has to do with dir creation somehow...im not so into php so i cant fix it.

But it creates the articles not in folder /articles but in the root folder i found out
so on every search you got new folder with 5 articles in a folder named bye the search

5 Articles works
more doesnt work i testet 10 and 59
well but if it runs with winamp its a charm :-) thnx

Well, so you can test it with wamp or xampp. I think they will work fine. btw, if your connection is slow, don't set the number of articles too high, it might returns errors

One quick note, guys. Articledashboard still has some problems. Better skip it. Ezine still the best place. I haven't seen any problem from articlesbase. Please submit your problems here (if any), I will try to fix.
