[GET] Free Wordpress Scraper-Commenter v0.2b

Hey guys I created this new thread so that everyone is talking about the same version. All previous comments/suggestions that have not been applied in this version are still remembered. I also created some instruction videos for this version since people requested them so I hope you find them useful.

New in this version:
*Bing and yahoo support
*Custom footprint search
*Live report for the poster so that you know what is going on

Upcoming features:
*Will add wordpress.com search in the scraper
*Do-follow and PR checker utilities are also considered

I know I said it in the video but since a lot of you are not going to watch it I am writting it here that if you want to search wordpress.com you can use google to do this using the following footprint:
site:wordpress.com "leave comment"

This looks like a great little program and no frills...

Ok I picked up a bug by the software. If you post a comment that wordpress (this especially happens in wordpress.com blogs) regards as spam then the poster thinks it posted in an auto approved blog! My suggestions to avoid this issue until I repair it (don't expect it tonight as I am going to sleep now) is to use better comments lists and use proxies.

Done using it.. some mistake..

The scraper is great works.. but the comment posting are not working..

One more OP.. when rebuild please let me know.. and can i edit the footprint right?? coz i wanna use the wordpress footprint given plus with my commentluv footprint

Thanks for addressing my issue. I would prefer an application in this way.

The tool checks for blog pages based on given keyword and the search engine specified.
If it finds a follow link it should check whether its open for comments or not.
If its open for comment, in the display or in the output box.
If the link is a nofollow no need to move ahead.

I do agree that it might slow down the speed. But then this will deliver the best result and the pages which can be used for immediate use.
PR checker should be an option which can be triggered later on (include checking of domain as well as the page.
Also try to include OBL checker.

I think this were the max suggestions I could come.

Ok I found the problem! The problem is the email list, somehow wordpress is able to check wether that the email addresses are valid before it posts the message! (as I said above this problem mainly arises in wordpress.com blogs).
The solution is actually easy use a valid email list
As for the auto approve error I will sort it out some time today and post it here.

@roxiea90 the footprint will remain in the next version since it works fine. Will let you known when its ready.

@nishmeh I will add your sugestions as options in the scraper (since some people think no-follow links have some weight) as they would slow down the scraper but probably speed up the posting process (these options will not be added in the bug fix v0.2.1b I will release to address the auto-approve problem but possibly in v0.3b)

Great software despite the known bugs!

Ok I repaired the bug in the software that was erronously producing spammed comments as autoapproved comments. There is no other addition in the software other than the report other than the log producing the me"Could not post comment or comment treated as spam" (this is basically a message that blog had the fields poster submitted your post but the reply was not autoapproved or pending approval), these posts are treated as failed posts and are not reported so check the log if you suspect your posts being treated as spam. There is no fake email list since it causes a lot of blogs to treat your comments as spam.

it scrap 1st 100 only...

Works for me.

Out of 1500 blogs, 6 successful, 0 auto-approved.

on the last version (V0.2.1b):
1- scrape tab -> there's should be counter for blogs scraped & stop button.
2- post tab -> "approval list save" button shall be "Save successfully posted".
3- check for approval tab -> there's should be counter for AA blogs and th whole number & stop button.

can i ask in which language you programmed this tool?

@darkfear it only scraps first 100 per keyword if you want more add more keywords

@tengil666 did you scrap the 1500 from my software? If yes try the site:wordpress.com "leave comment" footprint to see if you can get more.

@The torments your comments sound reasonable so I will add them to he next version. I wrote the tool in vb.net

1. If you can use "standard" lists for poster output and for link checker. For checker the input should be 2 files:your website and the blog list. This is good to compare this tool with others.
2. What is timeout? If possible include option for that in both poster and checker.
3. Support for spun comments.
