don't get me wrong but why opening a topic for a single profile link? flipboard dot com is shared here on bhw everywhere in a list with other web 2.0 profiles. how are those different from a wordpress, livejournal or other web 2.0's which are getting indexed very hard and realistically offer kinda 0 link juice and results without building a tier to them(as you suggested). yeah, i know, diversity and so on. also people sell hundred of those profiles for couple of bucks or something. how are any different if are built manually?

did anyone actually made a test by building like 10-20 manually high pr profiles to a site and got some nice results? did they even index? because i see lot of dedicated threads with how to make a profile link from flipoard, instructables, ibm, ted and so on. is the time consumed building these links worth anything?
 
Might be a stupid question, but do you blast the magazine board URL (with GSA links)?

I'm using these links for my local site (low competition) and the results so far are great but I added a little twist to the links to make them more relevant.
 
None of my links are indexed either :(
