(Get) Cheapest Host I've Found

I've used KVCHOSTING, HOSTGATOR, Startlogic

they are all good hosting as well
 
I'm curious to see if anyone knows of these guys and how their service is.

Starting at $1.99 per month they offer offshore unlimited/unmetered hosting with FFmpeg / mencoder etc for tube / video sites.
Some of the reviews I have found have been less than good, mostly banging on about crap support but they have been going for a few years now and the reviews are old(ish).

Anyone have experience with these cheap hosts for their own private network? I figure that uptime doesn't need to be 99.9%, maybe 99% would be fine since they wouldn't be my primary sites per se.

I use for around 3 years for testing smaller sites. Good support. Only 1.99 per month...
 
Only a little over a dollar a month is cheap. If it is secure and stable it is worth it. I always am cautioned that you get what you pay for when considering a web host. I might pick a reasonably priced one rather than the cheapest one.

Yep, same here. Been with Lacehost for a long time and they are good and very cheap.
 
I like Hostwinds, not only do they host here, their prices are low and their customer support is awesome

sometimes cheap is not better.. I just stick with hostgator to keep i simple, and free support 24/7
 
Search Google by 1 dollar hosting you will find many host :)

Good to see the list..

However, I couldn't find anything beating this,

Unlimited : Space, Bandwidth, Email, Subdoimans, MySql, Parked Domains

To be honest, I am using it.. Never faced downtime yet.. Awesome customer support..

Price : 9.95/yr

Ipage sometimes offeres shared hosting for 1$/year , just keep an eye on it if you need cheap hosting
