Hey I'm not sure if this has been posted about before or not, if it has sorry just trying to help out :)

Been using this host for a number of years now.

Code:
http://underhost.com/shared-hosting.php

They take alittle while to set up but after that usually amazing service and support.

Just thought I would share it here because for all the people just setting up for the first time they have a $1.35 a month plan.

You don't get a huge amount of stuff for it but for newbies who are starting out its a cheap way to test the waters.

I am in no way affiliated with the site (Other then being a customer) Just thought I would share.

(Also to mods, if this isn't in the right place in your mind please feel free to correct it) Thanks :cool:

This one is cheaper :)

Code:
http://www.zyma.com/

I still use them with no problems.

Try gatonegra $9.99/year

Of course you should know however that 'cheap' comes with some compromises... mainly when it comes to support. But such pricing should be perfect for noobs who are just getting started.

Also interested in the uptime of these. How reliable are they? I don't really care about support (as long as there are no major issues), but I can't have websites down

These cheap hosts are great for setting up small networks
Now i have to bookmark them all

I used them for about 6 months before I sold the website. Except for their 6 hour TAT for support, the site worked brilliant. Didn't notice any downtime either. Its good if its a small site or if you want to build a secondary tier of websites.

PLEASE GUYS DO NOT use Webhostingpad.com

I used them for a while and sure, there wasn't a problem for a while and then they kept suspending my account without telling me. Their support is quick I'll give them that but the only thing they kept telling me was "Your script is using up a lot of resources" and linking me to the Wordpress script and nothing else.

I hired 4 different optimizers to have a look at it and each one said they couldn't see anything wrong - Each one also did something to speed up my blog so it used less resources.

This went on about 10 times with them suspending my account, finally they said they couldn't host me anymore. My Google rankings were nuked and they are still not back.

I moved to StableHost - So far so good. No suspensions or anything. Support is quick and they are cheap.

Think I'm paying $10 every 6 months - There's cheaper but this is pretty cheap for the service.

Good stuff. Stablehost is good - I've used that before.

Do any of these hosts allow mass Email? I Email blast around 20,000 a day on average...

These might be cheap but the support and backup might not be of high quality also.
